No offence to anyone, I used to use the old site extensively, it was like a second home, but I totally lost my way with the new one and never got to grips, sorry. I used to chat a lot, was right on top of reading posts and interested in others' trials and tribulations, etc. also donating to the upkeep of the site. I made a few friends on the old site, a couple of whom I'm still in contact with. Sorry, I think the changeover lost some of that familiarity and that's why some people complained. As I said, absolutely no offence intended, of course!
Anyway, my family have now signed the forms and moving day is Monday. I can't find the ad on here to delete it, could someone do that for me, please? I've found the one on exchangefinder and have added a reply to it that we've got a swap. I cannot log into cche at all, for some reason. If I had an ad on there can that also be deleted please?
I'm very very pleased to report that my family are moving to Ipswich, it took 2 years overall, the original search from West Norfolk began in July 2008. The move to Clacton in July 2009 was always going to be a stepping stone, but it was a traumatic swap, with someone who was extremely difficult right from the start. The house was in an awful state (including things that really should NOT have passed the inspection, but we think the inspector was in and out in a couple of minutes and, to be honest, we wouldn't have blamed him!) Anyway, after a lot of hard work, the house is really nice and ready for the next swapper to move in, a completely different story, lovely people, communicative at all times, etc. etc. The exchange wasn't found on here. In fact, if I'm honest I've forgotten where it was - lol!
