We live in an area called Alvaston, non estate. it is a fairly quiet street and most of the homes are privately owned. There is easy access M1, A50, A38 and is just off the A6 (the road that runs through Loughborough, although there are quicker ways of getting there!). There are shops schools a park and a country park all close by, as well as the train station.

The house has small families both sides with whom we get on well, a fairly generous garden for a terrace with no houses overlooking. We have 2 small outhouses (toilet/coalshed?) which are now used for sheds.

Downstairs there a two good sized living rooms and a small kitchen. We have full double glazing and central heating. We are currently in the process of getting brand new front and rear doors.

Upstairs we have a large double bedroom, huge bathroom and a small second bedroom. We are also toying with the idea of converting the loft for even more space as it is 14 feet square with a high roof. This is also heavily insulated.
